THE HONEST AND DISCIPLINED
These men are few and rare, just that in the end, they become too disciplined and fixated on certain rules and ethics. Just as stated, they don’t take ‘nonsense’! Mostly they are principled and remain loyal to their daily routines. Most end up as service personnel or have ever served in the military or police service. They usually end up as the most loyal men, in relationships and marriages.
THE MONEY CHASER
These men have their focus on money! They are always busy chasing businesses and opportunities here and there. They end up not having much time for their families but they can be caring financially. They tend to spend a lot on their families, but may not be the best with communication. Do not go messing around with these men if you are a woman who is not committed because they do not have the time. Their appearance may not be the best because they care less about dressing since they are always busy with work. They are usually rich. Do not go searching far, take a brief look around, the next vulcanizer, auto mechanic, "galamseyer" or welder you see may be one of those men.
THE WOMAN BEATER
Here are the men who take some form of pleasure or seek to put their justice out by beating women. They are simply abusers and can be in any of the groups mentioned in this article. They have records of beating women in the past. They can be violent at times. The cause of their behavior may be traced to their upbringing, psychological issues, or caused by adverse poverty. You will never get to discover their true identity unless they get furious. Funny enough, they may not be that aggressive towards other males!

THE DRUG MAN
Alcoholism, smoking or, what-have-you you? They take part in either one, or all. Due to this, they may frequent prisons or have serious long-term health issues. Spotting these types of men is often easy, you will see them around drinking bars, nightclubs, etc. They have many friends or may be part of a group or gang. They are social birds and may have good social connections too. You can easily spot most of them in a crowd by their tattoos, earrings, or additional body accessories. Most of them are likely to be violent individuals also.
THE CHURCH-MAN
As the group name indicates, they are the “children of God” who frequent churches, and religious activities. This group of men appears holy in the eyes of observers but a careful analysis can prove otherwise. Due to their social activities, they generally look innocent and preferable in society. They are regularly called on for advice, by members of their community. They can easily hide problematic behaviors with ease. The clergy, prophets and prophets-to-be fall within this group.
THE MAN WHO WANTS MORE
Time and again referred to as womanizers, but mostly mistaken, this group of men mostly like women or enjoy staying in the company of women. It's either they are sex addicts or find something interesting in women. THE SCAMMERS AND OCCULTISTS
A new breed of young men who want money more than anything else. They jump into occultism to make money to impress society. This is the most dangerous group of men so far in Ghana. They make frequent sacrifices to their deities and do not care about using humans. A lot of young women have died at the hands of these men. They are familiar with all sorts of shrines, gods, and spirits. Most can be identified in flashy cars and mansions; they have numerous friends and followers but mostly end up in serious problems or die young in mysterious ways. Unfortunately, they are taking a strong stance in the Ghanaian populace.

THE GAMBLER
These are the groups of men with similarities with the “MONEY CHASERS” but rather sadly limited to gambling. They are young and can usually be seen around gambling centers. The advanced personalities end up being addicts who cannot even care for themselves. They hardly provide for their families and can run into huge debts. It can be a challenge coping with men in this group.
THE MAMA’S SON
Over pampered children who grew up to be adults only to be controlled by their parents. This group of men won’t make any decisions in life without informing their mothers or parents first. Not a bad character though, but they end up with marital complexities. They are not numerous though, but they usually come from wealthy families and happen to get glued to either one of their parents or both.
THE HARD-BOILED EGG
Men in this group had it very rough in life. They are mostly disciplined but can end up being harsh on their spouses and children. They never had life easy and may end up being stingy. They may prefer to give to society than their own family, probably out of pain from experience. They may end up as loyal husbands but will have some level of harshness.
THE TRADITIONALLY PREPARED
Here is the last group, they are usually found in the villages and hold onto strong traditions and values. They may be believers of voodoo and traditionalism. These men hardly forgive because they are regularly cautious in life. They take life seriously and leave a trace of tradition wherever they go. Every Ghanaian has one of such elders or grandfathers who is this way. They are typical village dwellers or men, who were brought up in remote areas of Ghana, in the essence of pure tradition.

The best man will never exist, it is up to one to decide who the best person is, will be, or has been. Unfortunately, some men will find themselves belonging to more than one of the groups above, in such instances, one should know he/she is dealing with a very complex individual. Now you should know where your boyfriend, husband, father, uncle, or brother belongs.
